Yoga Nidra is also known as yogic sleep. It is a deep relaxation and meditation technique for the body, mind and soul. Developed by Swami Satyananda founder of the Bihar School of Yoga, he developed Yoga Nidra by combining various ancient techniques.

This is a 25 minuted guided practice and will lead to complete relaxation on a physical, mental and emotional level and is considered to be more efficient than our regular night sleep. Furthermore it is a very effective tool to increase creativity, concentration, memory and intuition. It shows us ways to transform our personality and to live out our full potential.

It can be done in silence or you may like to play binaural beats softly in the background.

When you are ready to practice take time to create a sacred space to journey in. Spray your favourite essential oils, smudge your room with sage or cinnamon and place your crystals on or by your body.

I hope you enjoy this sacred practice and are able to find a sense of calmness within.
